The Executive Board all have prior experience working together for another PV start-up company.
Niall has a background as a Financial Analyst and Project Manager for Blue Chip banks such as Credit Suisse. He now provides expertise in fundraising to start-up companies in renewable energy.
Mark devised Lambda’s core concept in 2017, inspired by his work building communications systems. He has a background in satellite engineering, with a very broad knowledge of physics and engineering. He worked as Project Manager on a NASA-funded mission before moving into the renewables sector.
Monica is an exceptional nanomaterials scientist with close ties to academia at Cambridge University. She gained an Engineer Doctorate from the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) and is expert in techniques for materials processing and characterisation
Angelos recently completed an MSc in Advanced Materials from Cranfield University. Lambda sponsored Angelos MSc project at Cranfield University, to perform prototyping and development of Lambda’s solar cell materials. In the process he successfully developed Lambda’s first prototypes and validated the technology’s potential. Angelos completed his BSc in Materials Science from the University of Patras, Greece.
Lambda has been closely supported by academics at several UK universities including Cambridge, Cranfield and Exeter. Cranfield performed prototyping under two Lambda-sponsored projects under supervision from Dr Monica Saavedra. Exeter University is supporting our development activities and will model our second generation high performance design on their supercomputer.
